Temperance

ECT “works” by damaging the brain.
The Committee for Truth in Psychiatry (CTIP) is a National Organization with over 500 former electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) patients. Their mission is to provide the public and possible future ECT patients with information about this form of therapy using their shared experiences and knowledge. So many ECT patients were unaware of the lasting consequences of electric shock therapy, therefore CTIP is making the effort to inform and hopefully prevent any more harm.
Image Description: The Temperance Card is black and white, it is rectangular, and in the middle an angle is displayed with sharp wings, surrounding the angel are drawn wavelengths, arched parallel lines, and two cups one full and the other empty.
